Having spent so much of 2013 working on Kissing Midnight, I feel like I've lived New Year's Eve a thousand times over. And yet, tonight is still special. I hope your 2013 ends on a high note (with someone special to kiss at midnight!) and I hope 2014 brings you all the joy you so richly deserve. And remember my advice for 2014: BE BOLD!

Kissing Midnight is Now in Paperback!

Well, that was quick! Because my partner Marcy is so awesome and worked on it like crazy, we were able to get Kissing Midnight out in paperback in record time and I can't wait to have a physical copy in my hot little hands! I have a feeling Damon Za's cover design will be even prettier in person, and he added a striking version of the nightmare castle's door to the back cover for extra spookiness. If you order it right this second, you could still get it in time for Christmas - and you'd certainly have it by New Year's Eve. How appropriate would that be?

Kissing Midnight is LIVE!

The day is finally here and I am freaking out excited: Kissing Midnight is live! After a year's worth of work, I can finally share this unique story that's so close to my heart. If you believe in true love, or if you believe in ghosts - or even if you just believe there should be more supernatural lesbians in books - I hope you'll give Kissing Midnight a try. (And for an added bit of fun, if you read it now, you'll be able to read it "in real time" because he book begins on Dec. 20th and ends on the 31st. Cool huh?) And when you do, let me know what you think of Dev and Jesse and Saintly. I'd love to hear from you!

As always, thank you for all your enthusiastic support. You guys really do rock and I couldn't do it without you!

You can find Kissing Midnight on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Smashwords. Paperback copies will be available sometime in the next few weeks and I'll be sure to let you know. Happy reading!

Kissing Midnight Update

I've been working hard on Kissing Midnight and the finish line is in sight! My excellent editor Craig Lancaster has given me his edits and I'm working through them now, putting us on schedule to release Christmas week, if not sooner. I can't tell you how excited I am! I am so curious to hear your reaction to this very unusual story, and so eager to introduce you to Saintly and Jesse and Dev. I'll try to post some teasers in the next few days, but in the meantime, check out the character photos on the Kissing Midnight page on Pinterest, and make sure to like my author page on facebook, where I'll be posting updates. As always, thank you for all the support. Your excitement inspires me!

Deveraux Renard is the perfect boyfriend: perfectly handsome, perfectly charming… perfectly deadly. He has to be. Dev is immortal, but with a catch: Every year he has to make a new girl fall in love with him and kiss her at midnight on New Year’s Eve. That kiss renews his life for another year – and ends hers forever.
This year, Mariana “Saintly” Santos is the lucky girl. Of course she doesn’t know it. Saintly thinks New Year’s Eve is a chance to move beyond the tragedy of her brother’s death and focus on her first year of college. She doesn’t suspect her boyfriend’s secret–and he doesn’t suspect hers: Ever since her brother died, Saintly can see ghosts.
And one ghost in particular is dying to be seen. Twenty years ago, Jesse Hayden jumped off the campus clock tower because she was convinced that she’d never find true love. Now that she has met Saintly, she’s sure that she was wrong.  She’s determined to save the only girl in the world who can see her, but can she get Saintly to trust her in time?
Trust the ghost girl and live.
Trust the immortal boy and die.
Saintly has until midnight to make her choice, and the clock is ticking.
